Job summary

Harness is looking for a Senior Customer Architect (Forward Deployed Engineer) to join the Customer Success team. You will serve as a technical solution expert, working with large AppSec customers to design, implement, and optimize Harness platforms and adoption strategies for maximum value and outcomes.

You will collaborate across engineering, security, and product to enable customers to ship software securely and efficiently, while maintaining governance and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering, architecture, or technical consulting.
• Cloud infra experience (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash, Go).
• Excellent communication and ability to manage complex customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own customer implementations and adoption programs for Harness AppSec.
• Provide hands-on guidance through onboarding, adoption, and value realization.
• Develop strategic success plans aligning with customer leadership.
• Analyze usage data to identify adoption gaps and optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering to drive adoption and value.
