Job summary

Endeavors is seeking a reliable custodian to ensure cleanliness and sanitation across shelter facilities in the Austin area. You will perform janitorial duties, operate cleaning equipment, and report inspections with minimal supervision.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 months to 1 year of custodial experience, plus a valid driver's license and ability to travel to diverse locations. Excellent customer service is essential to support our mission and clients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 4 months to 1 year custodial experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Must be able to travel to multiple locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Report cleaning inspections and inventory as required.
• Provide excellent customer service to shelter clients.
• Support Shelter Manager with duties as assigned.
