Job summary

Endeavors is seeking a reliable custodian to ensure cleanliness and sanitation across shelter facilities in the Austin area. You will perform janitorial duties, operate cleaning equipment, and report inspections with minimal supervision.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 months to 1 year of custodial experience, plus a valid driver's license and ability to travel to diverse locations. Excellent customer service is essential to support our mission and clients.

JOB PURPOSE:This position’s primary purpose is to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and provide some work direction to custodial staff. The incumbent is accountable for the completion of assigned duties with a minimum level of supervision. The incumbent interacts positively with various customer/client points of contact and shelter staff and responds to requests personally and effectively.
