Job summary

Washoe County School District in Nevada is seeking a Utility Crew Custodian 2 to perform specialized custodial duties across WCSD under general supervision. Responsibilities include emergency clean-ups, process cleaning for health, and training staff. The role may require variable shifts including early morning, evening or night.

Candidates should have 1–2 years custodial experience or equivalent maintenance training. High School Diploma is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma desirable but not required.
• One to two years of custodial experience demonstrating reliability and good work habits, or equivalent maintenance training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and evaluates new hire custodial trainees.
• Inspects trainee work for compliance with standards.
• Provides orientation, training, and performance evaluations.
• Trains Site Facility Coordinators, Lead Custodians, and Custodians in Process Cleaning for Health.
• Performs routine custodial tasks and emergency cleaning, as assigned.
