Job summary

Health & Human Services Comm is hiring a Custodian III at the San Antonio State Supported Living Center. The role focuses on cleaning, disinfecting, restocking supplies, and maintaining safety and infection control across resident homes and program areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months of custodial/housekeeping experience required; one year preferred.
• Experience with environments serving individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, dusting, disinfecting restrooms and surfaces.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and record usage; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and housekeeping standards across units.
• Oversee staff as needed; support Custodian Manager with training and coaching.
