Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months’ work experience required.
• Experience in custodial or environmental services work in a nursing home, hospital, residential facility, hotel or similar is preferred.
• Applicants must pass fingerprint background check, pre-employment drug screen, and registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, dusts, disinfects, and sanitizes to maintain a safe environment.
• Operates floor maintenance equipment (strippers, buffers, vacuums, extractors).
• Requests and restocks supplies as necessary.
• Assists in inspections of buildings and equipment for cleanliness and repairs.
• Performs minor building and equipment repairs and installations.
• Coaches other custodians as needed.
