Job summary

PRIDE Industries is seeking a Janitorial Manager (CA) to oversee custodial services across multiple sites under federal contract. This exempt, onsite role reports to the Federal Contracts division and carries a salary grade E14 with responsibilities for safety, quality programs, and staff development.

Under minimal supervision, you will organize and manage staff, interface with customers, and ensure contract compliance.

Qualifications

Five or more years in custodial services or building maintenance.
Three or more years in a supervisory position.
Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities and/or physical challenges preferred.
Knowledge of Cal OSHA and OSHA safety regulations.
Strong supervisory, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Direct custodial supervisors and staff to perform cleaning and maintenance per contracts.
Maintain professional relationships with customers and resolve service issues.
Hire, train, develop, and evaluate staff.
Oversee supply, equipment maintenance, and subcontractors.
Coordinate work across multiple locations and prioritize tasks.
Ensure safety procedures are followed and regulatory compliance maintained.
Prepare reports and meeting materials for leadership and clients.
Serve as information source on contracts and operations.
