Job summary

Qualifications

• Three or more years of custodial or building maintenance experience.
• Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities and/or physical challenges, preferred.
• Knowledge of Cal OSHA and OSHA occupational safety and environmental regulations.
• Supervisory skills to hire, develop, and manage performance effectively.
• Effective oral and written communication skills using appropriate business English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, directs, and schedules custodial staff and subcontract personnel in performing custodial services.
• Maintains professional relationship with site customers, suppliers, vendors and employees.
• Supervises employees; develops a motivated team through hiring, training, counseling and performance reviews.
• Conducts facility walks, quality control inspections, safety audits and provides feedback to personnel and customer as appropriate.
• Schedules and prioritizes tasks, ensuring adherence to procedures while minimizing errors and safety risks.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
