Job summary

PRIDE Industries in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Custodial Lead to oversee custodial operations in a large facility. Under limited supervision you will lead daily staff activities and ensure cleanliness and safety standards.

Requirements include at least one year custodial experience, strong communication, and knowledge of safety regulations; valid driver's license may be required. This is an onsite, non-exempt position with pay around $19.54 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least one year of custodial experience.
• Effective written and spoken communication.
• Experience with adults with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of Cal/OSHA safety regulations.
• Knowledge of custodial equipment and procedures.
• Intermediate computer literacy.
• Basic math abilities.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees custodial staff to perform cleaning services and ensure coverage.
• Prioritizes tasks and coaches staff.
• Inspects work areas for quality and safety.
• Trains staff on safe use of cleaning equipment.
• Oversees waxing and buffing of floors.
• Maintains custodial equipment and supplies.
• Fills in for staff as needed.
• Performs other duties and special projects.
