Qualifications

• At least one year of custodial experience.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities and/or physical challenges preferred.
• Knowledge of Cal OSHA and OSHA safety regulations.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment safely and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversees custodial staff to perform cleaning services in a large facility.
• Prioritizes tasks and coaches staff in performing duties.
• Inspects work areas regularly for quality.
• Trains staff in the safe and proper use of cleaning products and equipment.
• Oversees waxing and buffing of floors.
• Maintains custodial equipment and ensures safe condition.
• Orders and maintains supplies and equipment.
• Fills in for custodial staff when needed.
• Performs other duties and special projects.
