Job summary

• Meets the Secretary of Interior’s Professional Qualification Standards for archaeology and related supervisory experience.
• Experience supervising cultural resources programs and staff.

Responsibilities

• Establishes priorities for cultural resources studies to support construction and environmental documents.
• Directs in-house cultural resource experts and consultants; administers contracts and approves work.
• Coordinantes with FHWA, SHPO, tribes and other agencies; interprets policies for Section 106 compliance.
• Develops programmatic agreements and MOUs as needed; promotes staff development and training.
