Job summary

Oneida ESC Group is seeking an experienced Cultural Resource Principal Investigator / Sr. Project Manager to lead and grow cultural resource services in the Great Basin, with primary responsibility for Nevada and Utah.

The role blends business development, client management, technical direction, and operational accountability, with opportunities to serve as PI on selected projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive archaeology expertise, tribal consultation experience, and knowledge of

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of culturally resource experience including project management, technical leadership, and client-facing responsibilities.
• Experience with Section 106, NEPA, ARPA, National Register criteria, and Great Basin state C/R requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to win work, grow revenue, and manage backlog.
• Experience working with tribal governments and government-to-government consultation.
• Willingness to travel to client meetings and project sites in the Great Basin and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development for cultural resource services across the Great Basin, focusing on Nevada and Utah.
• Oversee project delivery, budgets, staffing, quality, risk, and financial performance.
• Provide senior technical direction and PI oversight when required.
• Develop research designs, work plans, field methods, and monitoring plans.
• Ensure compliance with NHPA, NEPA, ARPA, and relevant regulations.
• Supervise staff, mentor team members, and coordinate cross-office staffing.
