Job summary

OESC (Oneida ESC Group) is seeking an experienced Cultural Resources Project Manager to lead projects across the Great Basin, primarily Nevada and Utah. You will oversee planning, field coordination, client communication, and proposal support while ensuring safety, schedule, scope, and budget adherence.

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Great Basin archaeology, tribal coordination, and federal/state cultural resource requirements, with strong leadership and communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, History, Cultural Resource Management, or a closely related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience in cultural resource management, NHPA/NEPA/ARPA knowledge, and regulatory review.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple cultural resource projects from initiation through closeout, including scope, schedule, budget, staffing, quality, risk, and client communication.
• Develop project work plans, staffing plans, schedules, cost estimates, and task assignments aligned with contractual requirements.
• Track project performance, labor usage, subcontractor costs, deliverables, and invoicing; identify variances and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate permits, access, equipment, subcontractors, and health and safety planning before field activities begin.
• Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies to support regulatory reviews, permitting, consultation, and approvals.
• Lead or coordinate staff across offices to maintain technical coverage and efficient utilization.
