Job summary

The position requires ARRT CT, BLS, state licensure, and IV competency, with Level II preferring 3+ years of CT experience and possible fluoroscopy certification. Hours are 36/week with a salary range shown.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) in CT required at hire or upon eligibility.
• RD/CT licensure as applicable at hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 60 days.
• 1–2 years CT experience in a hospital setting preferred for Level I.
• Level II requires minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification, verification, and exam preparation.
• Perform exams per department protocol and evaluate image quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within department time expectations without compromising care.
• Provide patient education, comfort, and address concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay updated on CT technology through continuing education.
• Assist and instruct students and other radiology staff in protocols.
