Qualifications

• ARRT certification required at hire for CT technologist.
• BLS certification within 60 days is required.
• State licensure as applicable upon hire.
• IV competency within 90 days.
• Colorado fluoroscopy certification preferred for Colorado roles.
• 1–2 years CT hospital experience preferred.
• Level II requires 3+ years CT experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and exam preparation.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review and evaluate images for quality and accuracy, ensuring anatomy is captured.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within time limitations without compromising care.
• Provide patient education and address concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay updated with CT technology and participate in CE activities.
• Instruct students and staff in exam protocols and positioning.
