Qualifications

• ARRT (R) Upon Hire, Required
• Certified CT Technologist ARRT (R)(CT), Preferred
• BLS Certification within 60 days, Required
• Licensure in state of practice, Upon Hire, Required
• IV Competency within 90 Days, Required
• Fluoroscopy certification, Preferred for Colorado

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions of the job
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to ensure high-quality images
• Ensure proper patient identification and exam preparation
• Perform exams per department protocol
• Review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment
• Complete studies within department timelines without compromising care
• Provide patient education and address patient concerns
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers
• Stay updated with CT advancements via continuing education
• Instruct students and other technologists in protocols and equipment
