Job description

Role: CT Technologist responsible for operating CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across all ages; produce reformatted images for radiologist interpretation; utilize PACS and teleradiology systems; ensure departmental compliance with accreditation standards; manage daily patient workload and staffing; perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with CT certification; license to practice radiologic technology in the state; venipuncture certification; BLS certification.
  • Preferred: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, 3 years CT experience, advanced CT certification, fluoroscopy, and venipuncture licenses.
  • Strong organizational, technical skills, critical thinking, and ability to handle diverse patient populations.

Key Duties: Ensure proper imaging procedures, maintain departmental accreditation, manage staffing, and uphold safety and quality standards in a collaborative healthcare environment.
