Qualifications

Job description

Role Overview: This position involves performing a variety of advanced CT imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining departmental operations. The technologist independently conducts exams, manages equipment, and post-processes complex protocols such as TAVR and Cardiac CTA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify clinician orders, obtain clinical histories, and administer contrast media safely.
  • Ensure accurate patient identification, image quality, and proper labeling.
  • Respond to emergencies, monitor patient conditions, and protect patient dignity.
  • Operate imaging equipment, adjust techniques to minimize radiation dose, and maintain equipment hygiene.
  • Perform advanced CT protocols and participate in quality control and departmental workflows.
  • Mentor fellow technologists, manage departmental supplies, and support process improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and staff, providing clear instructions and addressing concerns.
  • Assist in training, onboarding, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
