Job summary

Seacrest Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform advanced CT imaging, ensure patient safety, and deliver high-quality diagnostic images. You will mentor fellow technologists and oversee departmental functions in the absence of leadership.

The role requires ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, 2+ years of clinical CT experience, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Expect to work on-site in a fast-paced imaging department with emphasis on safety and quality

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certifications.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, including 1 year in CT.
  • Valid BLS certification.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, and quality control.
  • Ability to operate imaging equipment independently and handle high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and post-process advanced CT protocols such as TAVR, Cardiac CTA, Gated Chest, and others.
  • Verify clinician orders, assess patient history, and administer contrast media safely.
  • Ensure proper patient identification, positioning, and communication to reduce anxiety and improve cooperation.
  • Maintain equipment, monitor image quality, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in departmental operations, manage workflow, and support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in training, onboarding, and mentoring of staff.
  • Respond to emergencies, operate power injectors, and maintain infection control standards.
