Job summary

Aura Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with independence and precision. You will handle advanced CT protocols and contribute to patient safety and image quality in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has ARRT-CT certification, Radiography credentials, and at least two years of clinical experience including CT. You will mentor colleagues, ensure regulatory compliance, and support department operations while delivering

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Active ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certifications.
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience, with at least 1 year in CT.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in advanced CT protocols, radiation safety, and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt to departmental needs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform age-appropriate, safe CT exams with high image quality.
  • Set up and operate imaging equipment, position patients, and minimize radiation exposure.
  • Verify clinician orders, obtain patient histories, administer contrast safely, and review images.
  • Respond to emergencies, monitor patient condition, and maintain privacy and comfort.
  • Mentor and teach fellow technologists, oversee department workflow, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage equipment maintenance, quality control, and departmental supplies.
  • Assist with departmental operations, including patient transport, documentation, and clerical duties.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures with independence and precision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform age-appropriate, safe, and high-quality CT exams, including advanced protocols such as TAVR, Cardiac CTA, and lung/heart screenings.
  • Set up and operate imaging equipment, position patients, and ensure optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Verify clinician orders, obtain patient histories, administer contrast media safely, and review images for diagnostic acceptability.
  • Respond to emergencies, monitor patient condition, and maintain patient privacy and comfort.
  • Mentor and teach fellow technologists, oversee department workflow, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage equipment maintenance, quality control, and departmental supplies efficiently.
  • Assist with departmental operations, including patient transport, documentation, and clerical duties.
