Job summary

Intermountain Health's Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado is seeking a CT Technologist to maintain ARRT competency and operate CT imaging equipment in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes patient safety, accurate imaging, and adherence to department protocol.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required at hire.
• BLS certification within 60 days required.
• Licensure in state of practice upon hire required.
• IV competency within 90 days required.
• 3+ years CT experience for Level II; 1-2 years preferred for Level I.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical CT functions.
• Operate CT equipment and information systems to produce quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification and exam preparation.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality and accuracy; ensure full anatomy is captured.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies timely without compromising care.
• Educate patients and address concerns; ensure comfort.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with care providers.
• Stay current with CT technology and participate in continuing education.
