Job summary

Intermountain Health’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado seeks a CT Technologist to join a compassionate imaging team. You will perform CT exams, ensure patient safety, and uphold high image quality across procedures.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) CT certification upon hire is required.
• BLS within 60 days is required.
• Licensure in state of practice upon hire is required.
• IV competency within 90 days is required.
• Colorado hires: fluoroscopy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images.
• Verify patient identity, verify orders, and prepare patient for the exam.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality and accuracy with proper anatomy captured.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within department time expectations without compromising care.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, and address concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay current with CT technology through continuing education.
• Instruct students and other radiology staff on protocols and equipment.
