Job summary

FirstEnergy is seeking a Construction Site Coordinator to oversee pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities for transmission and distribution substation and line projects. The role may be based in Akron, Toledo, or Ashtabula service territories and emphasizes safety, scheduling, and contractor coordination.

The CSC will coordinate material requests, staking, cost impact analysis, and risk management while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related technical field.
• In lieu of a degree, 3 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction.

Responsibilities

• Foster a high-performing safety culture.
• Coordinate and supervise smaller to medium projects or support larger ones.
• Understand project scope, constraints and CPM schedules.
• Proactively manage scheduled tasks for construction activities.
• Assist in contractor bid package development and pre-bid meetings.
