Job summary

ASML’s San Diego Cymer division seeks a Senior CS Technical Support Engineer to deliver technical support for Cymer laser products in Integrator and Chipmaker Operations. You will support NPI and ensure field engineers have procedures, tools, and training to service Cymer light sources at customer sites.

The role emphasizes diagnosing, troubleshooting, and reporting field issues, while collaborating with engineering and service teams. Travel is required, and weekend on-call shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• BS in technical field with semiconductor equipment experience.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of DUV equipment installation and support is preferred.
• SQL, LabVIEW, scripting (FAST), data visualization with Spotfire/Grafana desirable.
• Strong English communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Cymer engineers diagnosing and repairing DUV light sources.
• Use escalation processes when first-line support cannot resolve field issues.
• Identify and report design, reliability and maintenance issues to engineering.
• Assist in NPI rollout with procedures, training, new diagnostics, and on-site support.
• Develop and validate service/troubleshooting procedures for the install base.
• Develop and deliver advanced FTSE training as needed.
• Administer development, testing, and release of Field Tools.
