Job summary

ASML US is seeking a Field Service Engineer - Cymer to install, repair, and maintain Cymer laser equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose complex issues, generate accurate service reports, and work closely with customers to minimize downtime.

The role requires 3–5 years of electronics experience, strong schematics reading, and the ability to lead installations while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Some travel to sites is expected as part of service delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3–5 years of technical electronics experience
• Ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot at module and system level
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and LabView
• English language skills, spoken and written
• Must meet customer site access requirements (background checks, safety training, cleanroom)

Responsibilities

• Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot Cymer equipment at customer sites
• Install, repair, retrofit, upgrade, and perform preventive maintenance on Cymer equipment
• Maintain an installation equipment base and provide primary customer support
• Provide service education to customer's staff
• Ensure parts availability and proper tools for service
• Complete service and expense reports per procedures
