Job summary

ASML US, including its affiliates and subsidiaries, seeks a Manufacturing Test Engineer to perform factory acceptance tests for certifying a DUV laser system. You will join the Cymer Light Source division and work hands-on with optical, electronic, and mechanical components to ensure delivery of a high-quality product.

This on-site role in San Diego, CA, requires collaboration with design engineers, inspection of parameters, and use of specialized testing equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics desired.
• A minimum of 2 years of related work experience preferred.
• Strong engineering, technical, and physics fundamentals.
• Experience working with precision optical components is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Tests laser systems and validates manufacturing processes.
• Performs functional tests, optical alignment, equipment calibration, station setup.
• Recommends changes in design, methods, and procedures to enhance product quality.
• Solves problems through troubleshooting and leveraging available resources.
• Uses standardized tools and electronic equipment to assemble/install or perform testing and troubleshooting.
• Trains others on test processes and troubleshooting when required.
• Performs a variety of moderately complex technical service duties with specialized knowledge.
• Interfaces with design engineers to support tests and experiments.
• Documents and monitors parameters critical to product quality or operations.
