Job summary

Elliptic is seeking a Senior Intelligence SME to own sanctions coverage, lead end-to-end investigations, and translate expertise into reliable outputs and scalable monitoring. You will coach colleagues, collaborate with Product, Engineering and Customer teams, and represent Elliptic at client briefings, regulators, and industry events.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as an intelligence analyst or compliance expert in sanctions.
• Deep knowledge of OFAC, UK, EU and UN sanctions frameworks.
• Experience designing monitoring/alerting frameworks and playbooks.
• Ability to identify systemic coverage risks and drive remediation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on global sanctions regimes and produce reliable outputs without oversight.
• Own coverage framework for sanctions designation regimes.
• Lead investigations into cryptoasset exposure to sanctioned entities and evasion networks.
• Define and evolve the sanctions monitoring operating model.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer teams to translate intelligence into platform capabilities.
• Produce reports, briefings, blogs, whitepapers, and client content.
• Represent Elliptic's sanctions intelligence at industry events and regulatory engagements.
