Elliptic, a leading cryptocurrency intelligence company, is seeking a Senior Cryptocurrency Intelligence Scientist to join its Intelligence team. You will become a go-to authority on on-chain attribution, guiding research and informing clients across financial institutions and government agencies.

You will coach colleagues, lead end-to-end investigations, and develop analytics tooling while shaping the future direction of cryptocurrency intelligence and risk mitigation at Elliptic.

Qualifications

• Strong data science fundamentals with SQL and Python to run analyses.
• Expert proficiency across blockchains with cross-chain experience.
• Intelligence professional with bias awareness and structured analytic techniques.
• Excellent communication for engineers to executives.
• Ability to obtain security clearance in UK or US.
• AI fluency essential to apply AI in analysis workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of identity signals and on-chain threats.
• Lead end-to-end research from scoping to written output.
• Evaluate attribution coverage and prioritise intelligence collection.
• Develop tooling to support analysts and data scientists.
• Translate crypto futures into actionable intelligence priorities.
• Summarise findings into reports, briefings, and marketing content.
• Collaborate with government partners and the broader crypto industry.
• Build relationships across Elliptic and with the intelligence community.
• Coach and mentor junior colleagues.
