Job summary

Elliptic is looking for an Engineering Lead to raise the standards of compliance tools. In this role, you’ll guide the Investigations team to optimize how financial institutions track fund flows and prevent crime.

You will lead a talented team, instilling ownership in technology choices while driving innovation and collaboration across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or mentoring a small engineering team (3–6 people).
• Strong skills in JavaScript and TypeScript for both backend and frontend development.
• Architectural thinking for scalable UI applications and APIs.
• Record of leading technical initiatives end-to-end.
• Clear communication of technical ideas to various stakeholders.
• Experience with AI coding assistants.

Responsibilities

• Write and review code to assist the team.
• Guide team technical decisions balancing quality and business objectives.
• Collaborate with Product and stakeholders to prioritize essential tasks.
• Develop problem-solving skills within the team.
• Provide onboarding system context to new members.
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
