Job summary

UtiliSave, LLC is seeking a senior developer to own and enhance the engine behind our forensic utility bill auditing software. You will drive Dynamics 365 CRM configuration and customization from discovery to production, and build automation on the Power Platform.

You’ll work with AI-assisted development tools as a standard practice and collaborate directly with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into robust CRM solutions. This role is fully remote within a small, cohesive team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on Dynamics 365 CRM experience: configuration, customization, plugins/workflows, and third-party integrations.
• Working experience with the Power Platform — Power Automate and Power Apps required; Power BI a plus.
• Proficiency in C# and/or JavaScript for CRM customization work; comfort with SQL Server or another relational database.
• Demonstrated, hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools in real projects — Claude Code preferred; Copilot, Cursor, or similar accepted.
• Excellent written and verbal communication — you'll be in the room with business stakeholders, not shielded from them.
• Comfortable working independently in a small, fully remote team.

• Write and maintain technical documentation as a normal part of delivery, not an afterthought.
• Work alongside our existing M365/CRM developer as a peer on CRM architecture decisions, and help mentor as the team grows.
• Track all work in JIRA, with estimation and task breakdown before development begins.

The pioneer in forensic utility bill auditing. Since 1991 we've recovered $700M+ for 16,000+ commercial buildings — on pure contingency. No recovery, no fee. We're growing rapidly, and our in-house software is the engine behind that recovery.

We're looking for a senior developer to help own that engine: someone who can take our Dynamics 365 CRM from configuration to production-grade reliability, build real automation on the Power Platform, and work the way our team already works — with AI-assisted tools as part of daily development, not an experiment on the side.
