Job summary

Newmark is seeking a seasoned Critical Operations & System Maintenance leader to oversee the operation and maintenance of data processing facilities and support infrastructure. You will manage engineers, vendors, and safety, ensuring compliance with SOPs, MOPs, ERP, and change control processes in critical environments.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred with strong mechanical, HVAC, electrical expertise.
• Minimum of ten years in mechanical trades or PE with facility maintenance exposure.
• At least five years in critical facilities supervision with managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage operating engineers, electricians, and service contractors.
• Ensure SOP/MOP/ERP compliance and change control for critical environments.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs with minimal disruption to services.
• Lead safety, regulatory compliance, and hazardous materials handling.
• Coordinate shift scheduling, after-hours coverage, and staff performance evaluations.
• Document incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee equipment operations, HVAC, electrical, and backup systems.
