Newmark Group, Inc. seeks a seasoned Building Operations Engineer to maintain and optimize building systems, respond to after-hours emergencies, and coordinate with the Building Manager across multiple properties.

The role requires 7+ years of hands-on operations experience, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to manage budgets, vendor relationships, and schedules while ensuring safe, reliable, and economical building performance.

Formación

• High School Diploma.
• 7+ years building operations engineering experience.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions.
• Proficient computer and e-mail skills.
• Must hold required licenses and complete safety classes.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain operating logs for air conditioning, fans, meters and complaints.
• Organize work orders and ensure economical maintenance.
• Oversee preventive maintenance program.
• Assist in annual budget and RFP process for budgeted projects.
• Order supplies and materials and manage inventories.
• Record meter readings and inspections; report to Building Manager.
• Respond to tenant complaints promptly and efficiently.
• Understand life safety systems and fire procedures.
• Coordinate after-hours emergency responses and tests as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
