Job summary

Newmark is seeking a Critical Facilities Engineer (Electrical) to manage high‑reliability data center infrastructure. You will monitor power distribution, UPS, generators, and BMS, ensuring 100% uptime through proactive maintenance and rapid incident response.

You will review schematics, run tests, and coordinate with contractors while enforcing NFPA 70E safety standards. The role requires 3–5+ years in critical environments and the ability to work 24/7 when needed.

Qualifications

• Trade school or electrical license required.
• 3–5+ years in a critical or data-center environment.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics and system diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor critical electrical systems and distribution.
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance on power infrastructure.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
• Develop and follow MOPs, SOPs and EOPs for critical work.
• Respond to outages, perform RCA, and implement fixes.
