Job summary

Northern Lakes Community Mental Health Authority in Michigan seeks an experienced Crisis/Access Operations Manager in Houghton Lake to oversee daily services. You will supervise staff, coordinate workflows, monitor compliance with Medicaid, MDHHS, and CARF requirements, and improve access to crisis services across multiple counties.

This role requires licensed clinical leadership, a master’s degree in a relevant field, and at least five years of clinical supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Must have licensure with the State of Michigan as a fully licensed professional.
• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Licensed Professional Counselor from an accredited university, or a Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience with administrative supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Crisis/Access Services operations across Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Wexford, Missaukee, Roscommon and Crawford Counties.
• Supervise Crisis and Access Specialists and staff, ensuring performance and policy adherence.
• Coordinate utilization management and ensure timely access to services and appropriate clinical decisions.
• Support budget management, monitoring performance metrics, and service improvement initiatives.
• Participate in rotating after-hours on-call system and authorize services per NLCMHA processes.
