Job summary

Lifeways MI is seeking a Supervisor, Crisis Services to oversee crisis programs and staff under the Director of Crisis Services. You will supervise staff, ensure program objectives, and monitor service delivery quality in a fast-paced mental health setting.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, budget oversight, training, and ensuring compliance with licensing and organizational standards. Masters level licensure in Michigan is required, with CAADC/CADC or NBCC credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Family & Marriage Therapy or Doctorate in Psychology.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day staff activities and discipline according to procedures.
• Educate and empower staff to meet organizational needs and adjust schedules and priorities.
• Direct, supervise, train, evaluate competencies, and address performance issues promptly.
• Plan and facilitate meetings to communicate initiatives and updates to staff.
• Assist in development and monitoring of department budgets.
• Monitor staff schedules to ensure effective utilization of time.
• Collaborate with Leadership on compliance and ethics issues.
• Monitor credentialing, privileging, and licenses to ensure up-to-date practice.
• Ensure program specifications, productivity, and patient contact frequency are met.
• Develop and lead staff training to maintain clinical excellence.
