Job summary

CMHA-CEI in Lansing, Michigan seeks a CSU Supervisor to lead the Crisis Stabilization Unit and Urgent Care within FF Crisis Services. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop, implement, and supervise services, ensuring high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Master’s in Social Work or Psychology, active Michigan licensure, and at least 3 years of experience with children and families with mental illness, plus leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field; Nursing degree may be acceptable depending on area
• Full license through State of Michigan required (e.g., LMSW, LPC)
• Minimum 3 years of experience with children and families with mental illness
• At least 1 year in a lead or progressively responsible position
• Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both in writing and verbally
• Valid Michigan driver’s license and transportation for job-related use
• Must be familiar with computers
• May participate in a 24-hour on-call system; weekends/holidays possible
• May be fingerprinted

Responsibilities

• Coordinate behavioral health milieu and treatment of the CSU
• Supervise the CSU and Urgent Care units’ behavioral health components
• Coordinate with medical aspects of the unit and other crisis units
• Participate in program planning, data collection and analysis
• Develop policies and procedures; perform administrative duties
• Carry out activities to fulfill CMHA-CEI’s mission and guidelines
