Job summary

Northern Lakes CMH Authority in Traverse City, MI, shoulders a senior role coordinating Crisis and Access services with strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and clinical practices for mental health and co-occurring conditions.

The Operations Manager provides day-to-day leadership, supervises teams, supports budget management, and ensures high-quality access to crisis services across multiple counties while aligning with organizational goals and community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Must have Michigan licensure as a fully licensed professional (LMSW, LPCC, or Psychologist preferred).
• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Nursing.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience and administrative supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Crisis/Access services across multiple counties.
• Supervise Crisis and Access staff and coordinate workflow.
• Ensure compliance with Medicaid, MDHHS, CARF and internal policies.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
• Monitor budgets, performance metrics, and service outcomes.

Education

Master's Degree in Social Work or Psychology

MI Licensure (LMSW/LPCC/Psychologist)
