Trane Technologies is seeking an experienced CAD/PLM engineer to design residential gas furnace components using Creo, Windchill, and Teamcenter X. You will develop 3D models, drawings, and BOMs, coordinating with offsite resources to ensure on-time delivery.

You will analyze tolerances, thermal and structural aspects, and apply DFM/ergonomics to streamline product development. Strong communication and project planning are essential in a collaborative, onsite team environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in CAD/PLM in a design engineering environment with Creo, Schematics, Windchill and/or Teamcenter X preferred.
• Strong mechanical/electrical design experience, HVAC or consumer appliance background valued.
• Proficiency in Schematics and Pro-Cabling; familiarity with Adobe Illustrator & barcode apps is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Create critical 3D models and engineering drawings in Creo across multiple domains.
• Translate subsystem requirements into optimized design solutions.
• Apply DFM/ergonomics to support efficient product development.
• Perform engineering analysis with Creo; document results clearly.
• Define component/material specs; support cost reduction and quality goals.
• Manage BOM and data in Windchill/Teamcenter X; coordinate with offshore resources.
