Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks an experienced design engineer to create parts and assemblies using Creo Parametric and related CAD tools. You’ll prepare drawings, BOMs and supporting documentation, while applying GD&T and tolerance analysis to ensure robust product definitions.

The role requires 3+ years in mechanical or electrical engineering, proficiency with CAD suites, and the ability to translate verbal instructions into accurate drawings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering design experience in electrical or mechanical fields.
• Proficient with CAD software including Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor or Pro/Engineer.
• Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance analysis and product definition processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering to create parts, assemblies and layouts in CAD.
• Develop documentation and bill of materials using PLM systems.
• Support design decisions and resolve drawing or configuration issues.
