Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Designer to draft and design components, assemblies and enclosures for HVAC control products. You will work in cross-functional global teams, using Creo, CAD, and PLM tools to develop concepts and documentation.

Responsibilities include collaborating with engineers and manufacturing, translating instructions into CAD models, and ensuring design intent is captured while adhering to drafting standards. On-site work with relocation benefits may apply.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Design, Electrical Design, Drafting, or related field.
• Experience in Creo (preferred) and other CAD tools.
• Experience with PLM systems (Windchill and/or TeamCenter).

Responsibilities

• Create electronic components, parts, assemblies and enclosures using Creo.
• Produce designs and documentation using CAD and PLM tools.
• Develop supporting documentation across multiple systems.
• Support PLM change control processes.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical and manufacturing teams to capture design intent.
• Translate instructions into CAD drawings/models for HVAC control products.
