Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Designer II to join a high-performing product development team focused on HVAC systems. You will create 3D models, generate production drawings, and support documentation across CAD tools to meet engineering requirements.

Ideal candidates bring strong design capability, sound judgment, and continuous improvement mindset, with experience in Creo, SolidWorks, or related CAD systems and the ability to contribute innovative concepts that enhance performance and cost

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Design or 2+ years designer experience; 5+ years experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience with CAD tools including Creo Parametric, SolidWorks, Inventor or ProEngineer.
• Experience coordinating and directing project planning and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Create parts, assemblies, and layouts using Creo Parametric.
• Produce designs and documentation for product life cycle management systems.
• Translate instructions into drawings for HVAC products; provide design data support to other departments.
