Trane Technologies is seeking a senior design engineer to support HVAC residential furnace products. You will create Creo CAD models and docs, coordinate with off-site resources, and ensure on-time delivery while applying DFA/DFM and ergonomics. The role involves Windchill/Teamcenter X data management and BOM upkeep.

With 7+ years in CAD/PLM, you will translate lead requirements into practical designs, perform analyses, and drive cost and quality improvements in a collaborative team.

Qualificações

• Minimum 7 years of advanced CAD/PLM experience in a design engineering environment.
• Proficiency with Creo, Windchill and/or Teamcenter X preferred.
• Strong background in mechanical/electrical equipment design, HVAC or consumer appliances.
• Experience with Schematics and Pro-Cabling; Adobe Illustrator knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills with timely delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Create critical 3D models and drawings in Creo across multiple disciplines.
• Translate subsystem requirements into optimized design solutions.
• Apply DFA/DFM, ergonomic principles to support efficient development.
• Perform engineering analysis with Creo and document results clearly.
• Define component specs while supporting cost reduction and quality goals.
• Manage data and BOMs in Windchill and/or Teamcenter X.
• Coordinate design development with off-site manufacturing resources in the US.
