Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a commercial lending environment in a credit-oriented and underwriting position.
• Underwriting guidelines and RACs.
• Credit underwriting and loan documentation.
• Ability to structure deals and explain to lenders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the financial health of an assigned loan portfolio and communicate with clients and the business team.
• Underwrite and structure new transactions, renewals, extensions, and modifications.
• Lead client meetings and internal deal discussions; identify and mitigate credit risks.
• Review credit packages; mentor junior team members.
• Perform due diligence and prepare credit presentations; oversee closing process.
• Ensure accurate risk ratings and timely portfolio reporting and compliance.
• Prepare quarterly portfolio reports and participate in special projects.
