Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a commercial lending environment.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines and RACs.
• Ability to structure deals and explain terms to lenders.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Excellent time-management and credit analysis skills.
• Solid understanding of loan documentation and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the ongoing financial health of an assigned loan portfolio and communicate with clients and the business team.
• Underwrite and structure new transactions, renewals, extensions, increases, and modifications.
• Lead external client meetings and internal deal discussions; advise on policy and loan structures.
• Review credit packages and mentor junior team members.
• Perform due diligence, prepare credit presentations, and oversee closing process.
• Approve transactions within lending authority when applicable.
• Maintain dashboards and compliance with loan terms; contact clients for monitoring.
• Prepare quarterly portfolio reports and participate in special projects.
