Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a commercial lending environment

Responsibilities

• Monitor the financial health of an assigned loan portfolio and maintain dialogue with clients and the business team for credit reporting and updates.
• Underwrite and structure new transactions as well as renewals, extensions, increases, and amendments for existing clients.
• Lead external client meetings and internal deal discussions, advising on credit policy, loan structures, and risk appetite.
• Review credit packages prepared by junior team members and provide guidance.
• Complete required due diligence and analysis, prepare credit presentations, and oversee underwriting and closing processes.
• Approve transactions under lending authority when applicable.
• Maintain dashboards and reporting on portfolio monitoring, compliance with loan terms, and client deliverables; engage with clients for monitoring and site visits.
• Validate and analyze reports (financial statements, collateral, appraisals, etc.) to verify compliance and escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure credits are properly risk rated and monitored; prepare quarterly portfolio reports.
• Participate in special projects related to portfolio management.
