This role reports directly to the Chief Credit Officer and is responsible for managing a team of credit analysts while ensuring sound underwriting practices that align with the bank’s risk appetite and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of credit analysts, overseeing the underwriting process for commercial lending.
• Review, structure, and approve credit proposals, ensuring adherence to the bank’s credit policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with relationship managers and executive leadership to support loan origination and portfolio management.
• Assess credit risk across various industries and lending structures, providing guidance on complex credit decisions.
• Enhance and implement underwriting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and risk management.
• Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management on credit quality and portfolio performance.

Qualifications:
