Job summary

SouthPoint Bank is seeking an experienced credit analyst to support the loan portfolio and risk management functions. The role involves analyzing loss reserves, preparing Board reports, and overseeing loan policy compliance.

The candidate will coordinate with loan operations and the Credit Department, ensuring accurate procedures from application to closing and ongoing monitoring for large relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Seven to ten years of experience in credit analysis and loan underwriting or related loan review experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly analysis of the Allowance for Credit Losses.
• Prepare monthly Board reports related to credit quality of the loan portfolio.
• Manage loan policy and reporting for internal monitoring and loan review/audit purposes.
• Secretary to the Directors Loan Committee for loans >$5 million.
• Coordinate with loan staff to ensure cohesive loan procedures from application to closing.
