Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent banking experience.
• Experience in credit analysis, portfolio management, or commercial lending.
• Strong financial modeling and ability to review complex statements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for loan recommendations.
• Familiarity with banking regulations and risk management.
• High attention to detail and integrity in credit risk evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, and cash-flow projections to determine borrower creditworthiness.
• Prepare clear, data-driven loan memoranda and risk assessments for loan committee presentation.
• Manage and monitor a mixed portfolio of commercial and consumer loans, identifying potential issues early and recommending remediation.
• Collaborate with lenders on new credit requests, renewals, covenant monitoring, and workout strategies.
• Ensure loan documentation and underwriting comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal partners to support timely decision-making and excellent client service.
