Job summary

Truist is seeking a Middle Market Credit Delivery Associate who will support underwriting and risk evaluation for sponsor/leveraged finance and general Middle Market banking segments. You will facilitate diligence, analyze financial statements, and coordinate with senior credit staff on complex credits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline
• 2–4+ years in Commercial/Corporate/Leveraged/Investment Banking or related credit environment
• Strong verbal and written communication; document analyses clearly
• Proficient in Microsoft Office to prepare and present credit materials
• Analytical problem-solving with knowledge of credit risk mitigants
• Knowledge of asset-reliant and cash-flow credit structures
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints
• Collaborative team player with Analysts and Credit partners

Responsibilities

• Facilitates diligence and underwriting documentation for complex and larger credit relationships; coordinates with Credit Officer and final approvers
• Ensures loan agreements align with approval documents and addresses issues with Relationship Manager
• Analyzes financial statements and documents client performance and risks
• Monitors Credit Process Metrics within portfolio and ensures compliance
• Acts as client and internal point of contact for portfolio management
• Mentors Credit Delivery Analysts and Associates
