Job summary

Truist is seeking a Middle Market Credit Delivery Associate to support underwriting for sponsor/leveraged finance and middle market banking clients. You will analyze financials, assess risk, and recommend credit structures with mentorship from senior staff.

Role involves coordinating with Relationship Managers, Credit partners, and Analysts to ensure adherence to policy while delivering solid client interactions across multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2-4+ years in Commercial/Corporate/Leveraged/Investment Banking or credit-focused environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to document analyses clearly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial analysis tools for materials.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify key credit risks and mitigants.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate diligence and underwriting documentation for complex credits.
• Ensure loan agreements comply with approval documents and address issues.
• Analyze financial statements and projections to assess client performance and risk.
• Monitor credit process metrics and maintain risk compliance within portfolio.
• Serve as client/internal contact for assigned portfolio and support associates.
• Mentor Credit Delivery Analysts and participate in training.
